4ACES SCAFFOLDING LTD is a family owned business established in March 2022. 4ACES was named after the owner’s four sons.

Mayren, the director, is a civil engineer by profession with extensive experience of Quantity Surveying and Site Management in the New Zealand construction industry.

Raffy, the Co-Director and Project/Contract Manager of the company has 23 years of experience in the scaffold industry not only here in New Zealand but also overseas. He is an expert in calculating loads and designing scaffold that suits a client’s budget.

Being customer focused is one of his strength along with a keen sense of safety and time management, always seeking to achieve the customers requirements ahead of time, within budget and with a cheery smile on his face. When not scaffolding, Raffy enjoys playing guitar at community events with his friends.

Starting a business can be a challenge and support is key. We are blessed to have the inspirational support of family and friends, particularly Evelyn (Life Ashore Consulting), who encouraged us and provided invaluable business expertise to make our dreams possible.

4ACES wants to help young Kiwi’s become qualified scaffolders via our apprenticeship scheme. In addition to this, the company is an accredited employer in New Zealand. This allows us to support migrant visas for up to 3 years through the Accredited Employer’s Working Visa.
